And what an abundant life He has given us! Welcome to our website. This is our family and our story...
Where we were: Unhappy, constantly quarreling & ready for divorce. Deep down we were miserable even though we had everything we thought we wanted. Good jobs, children, a spouse, a house, quite frankly we had it all and yet we didn't....
What happened: We found Calvary Bible Church where we learned that believing in Jesus was so much more than intellectually acknowledging Him and "accepting Him into your heart". It was about repentance and obedience and pursuing a relationship with the God of this universe who loved us so much that chose us as His children before he even laid the foundations of the Earth. He came to earth as a man and suffered and died in our place. The wages of death that we deserved (Rom 6:23), He took on himself when he submitted Himself to the will of the Father and was crucified in our place, buried and resurrected on the third day, so that we might have eternal life. But, wait ...... there is more....
He came that we might have life and have it abundantly.
Where we are now: We also learned that the truth of God's Word was sufficient and useful for every area of our lives. (2 Pet 1:3) Our marriage, our parenting, our home, conflicts, difficult times, our finances, relationships, our sense of wellbeing and personal happiness.... Everything about our lives has changed. As soon as we learned to seek God first and please Him foremost, all these concerns fell into place.
So why this website?: We believe there is power in God's Word. We are tired of reading the wordly messages on t-shirts these days. It seems everywhere we go, people's shirts are talking: "I am the best", "You bet I'm spoiled" , "Married?, Sorry, game over", "It's All about me!". After years of wanting to start a Christian T-Shirt company, we finally jumped in. So listen up world! Our shirts are talking back!
